theBalm Meet Matt(e) Nude Palette

Are you happy to meet me too, Matt(e)? Cuz I am.
theBalm Meet Matt(e) Nude Palette ($42.00 for 25.5g - 0.9oz on theBalm) is the descendant of the well know original Meet Matt(e) palette which, as the name suggests, includes all matte shades but in a variety of color. This palette, however, is filled with nude shadows that can fulfill any neutral lover's desire.
You've met Matt(e), now it's time to Meet Matt(e) Nude…nude eyeshadows that is. Because size matt(e)rs, there are nine larger Matt(e)s showing their true colors in nude hues. As a matt(e)r of fact, this palette is versatile enough to wear day and night, as liners and as all-over colors...the whole 9 yards! With so many guys to choose from, you're sure to find your perfect shade, no matt(e)r what!

The shadows come in a very slim heavy duty cardboard packaging which houses a decent sized mirror inside. I love how they print the name under each shade for easier reference instead of having to look on the back or even nothing at all and do not include any brush / applicator since I never use them. The whole palette feels quite heavy and secure. The shade names are in fact nothing special, and for me I prefer calling them: that white shade!, this crème!, this taupy gray! instead of the real names.

On to the product, they are easy the most pigmented mattes I have come across. They are all soft, pigmented, easy to pick up and blend. It is necessary to mention that despite their being so "creamy" when you rub your fingers on the shadows, there will be a lot of powder picking up as soon as you run a fluffy brush over. Matte Malloy is the whitest white I have seen, and the medium browns Matt Singh - Matt Lombardi and Matt Rosen are perfect transitional shades whereas the others are great for giving more definition to the eyes.

I love the mix of warm, neutral and cool tones nude colors in this palette which empowers our creativity and serves almost all needs for neutral shades. I however wish there was a matte black included. This is overall a high quality product that anyone can benefit from, not to mention the generous sizes will last a long time given that you don't need a whole lot for the desired level of dense pigmentation.
