It's quite hard to believe that half of the year has gone by already! Yay for the nearness to Christmas yes nay for me getting older (contradiction much?). Today, as usual, I have the menu of June's favourites to share with you all. The month of June was (and still has been) exciting for me since I have a mixture of rediscoveries, new discoveries and a lot of non-beauty thingies as well. So, be prepared, since I have quite a long article this time.

When it comes to affordable lipsticks, the very first thing that pops into my mind is the beautiful range of Maybelline ColorSensational. I own quite a handful of them and enjoy each one equally. Today I have three new acquisitions of mine that at first look like only being autumn-appropriate but makeup is all about attitude so they're working year round for me: Yummy Plummy, Mauve-ulous and Madison Mauve (see part 1 which features 3 more here). They seem to not be available in stores anymore but you can easily snatch one off Amazon.

E.L.F Studio Eyebrow Kit ($3.00 for 3.5g / 0.12oz) contains a tinted brow wax and a complementary brow powder in a small handy compact with a tiny mirror and a double-ended brush for easier application inside. It comes in four shades: Light, Medium, Dark and Ash.

Today I am so excited to write the second part of my Wet n Wild Megalast lipsticks ($2.29 or even cheaper varying from where you get them for 3.3g / 0.11oz) collection. During my casual Sunday shopping trip a few weeks back I just *casually* running through the makeup section and I found these! I have already had 5 other colours from this range which you can read my review here, so there was no other option rather than collect them more (if you aren't a makeup hoarder like me, your action would probably be "oh I have way too much, no need to get any more", but I am me, fin de la discussion).

My first ever body-related post (mind you, it's a hand cream for God's sake, I'm not trying to sell anything, *ROFL*), yay! I was casually doing my usual Sunday shopping trip which mostly results in a couple of nail polishes and sometimes some makeup brushes but this time, this 3W Clinic Olive Hand Cream caught my attention. If Korean products are hard to acquired in your area, maybe it's a good idea to try Amazon and eBay. Usually 3W Clinic products are very affordable and I got this for around $3.00 for 100ml / 3.38 fl. oz (for Ingredients, features and usage please click on the pictures below for full size)

Sleek Antique blusher ($6.99 for 8g-0.27oz) came out last September just in time for the wintertime. Mine came in the standard black outer packaging instead of the beautiful golden vintage-looking one even though on their website it still shows that latter. I am not sure why, maybe it was just available for a limited time? However it displeases me quite a lot. It comes in a very small (much smaller than you expect, about half the size of my palm) yet heavy and durable matte black compact with shiny logo.

Eco Tools Six-Piece Essential Eye Brush Set ($7.99 for five brushes and a zip pouch) has become my travel brushes of choice due to their sizes and performance. It is an amazing feeling to be able to bring so many tiny things with you whilst traveling so that you can add more and more for a much bigger choice (yeah, I am the kind of people who cannot determine what to bring and what to leave when it comes to packing my makeup products - I seem to need a train case!).

Today I present to you the forever-out-of-stock Makeup Academy MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter (£3.00 for 7.5g), at last! I was able to snatch one in May after months of trying. Ever since its release last year, I have been attempting to order it but always failed due to its popularity and hype. Right now it is out-of-stock again unfortunately but I still want to give you a head-up of its performance.

With the mind-blowing ever-growing popularity of the Urban Decay Electric palette, I thought it was quite the time to write a review on this little palette. The BH Cosmetics Take Me To Brazil Palette ($19.95 but currently on sale for $10.50 for 28g/ 0.99oz) is a nice thing if you want to experiment with colors without hurting your pocket (mine cries all the time, ha!) in case you unfortunately find this style is not for you. Experimenting is most of the time always a good thing I believe.The palette contains 28 smaller-sized eyeshadows and 2 large ones. The palette is made of quite sturdy cardboard which feels a little heavy housing a little mirror inside.

Yay to my first haul post! I did quite a damage on the course of May: there are simply so many pretty things out there that I wished to own. It's a little guilty satisfaction to create a wishlist and be able to mark the items as "Bought!" (yay! again). So, there are a few things that I bought and have been enjoy lately. Sleek Blush By 3 in Pink Lemonade ($14.99 for 17g/ 0.06oz) is one of their two most recent blush palette offerings with the other named CALIFORN.I.A (which includes all three cream colors) launched back in February I believe. This one include two powder blushers and one cream in a handy yet sturdy compact. I love how consistent and distinguishable their packaging is which far exceeds the expectation given the affordable price points. Sleek products are not actually the cheapest available in the market, but for the products' performance and the amount you get, the deal is still very noticeable. When it comes to Sleek blushers, it is like playing Pokémon - Gotta catch them all! Up till now I have acquired 4 out of 8 of the Blush By 3 and written a review on three of them which are Pink Sprint, Pumpkin and Sugar.
