Sleek Face Contour Kit - Light
Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light ($9.99 for 14g/ 0.48oz) is a cult and a darling among the blogging world (even a favorite of many professional makeup artists, I may add). The idea of having a tiny compact which fulfills your shading and illuminating needs is such a desired convenience. I find that Sleek has quite mastered this idea and brought out beautiful shades in their contour-bronzing product ranges.

The
product comes with a little "instruction" sheet that gives you basic
idea of how contouring works in case you are not familiar with this term
and a tiny little compact that is literally even smaller than my
iPhone, however housing a whooping 14g of product: a fully matte contour
shade and a shimmery highlight shade.
- Contour: a medium brown with a slight gray undertone but translates a little warmer on the skin. Fully matte and is extremely finely milled.
- Highlight: a beige shimmery shade, not quite equally finely milled but still very nice to the touch, quite subtle on the cheeks.
I am very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product: both powders are finely milled, pigmented, easy to blend and can be picked up easily. The contour shade has that slight gray undertone which is great for carving out your cheekbones (not literally of course! even though I am quite currently obsessed with the Hannibal series) but not very ideal for bronzing up the face. The highlighter actually quite matches my skin so it gives a lovely natural glowiness which is exactly what I am after.
Please be warned that most Sleek face products run a little darker than other brands, so this Light shade works nicely on my NC20-25 skin but can be a little too dark for fairer skin tones.
